The natural beauty of the U.S. Virgin Islands provides a plethora of activities and attractions for all ages. St. John is the smallest of the three U.S. Virgin Islands, but its beauty is conceivably the greatest found anywhere in the Caribbean. Settled in the early 1700s by Danish immigrants, St. John blossomed into a thriving sugar cane-producing colony. Today you can explore St. John's rich culture and history all over the island, from the well-preserved rock carvings along the Reef Bay Trail to the restored ruins of Annaberg Plantation.

Given the island's 19 square miles of pristine and unspoiled landscape, St. John is a premier destination for travelers and will remain as such. In 1956 Laurence Rockefeller donated most of the land he had acquired on the island to the United States' National Park Service, under the condition that it must be protected from future development. Seventy-five percent of the island's waters, coral reefs and shoreline are protected via their inclusion in the park.

Half day and full day private or group charters, normally with snorkel stops (and most provide snorkel gear). Full day sails and snorkel trips normally include lunch and open bar. Groups normally have 4 – 16 people, depending on boat, but there are larger boats that can accommodate up to 50.

Horseback riding or donkey rides: Head off with the trail leader onto old roads in the forest for approximately 1.5 hours in Coral Bay
